- No copy-paste support. Instead Microsoft introduced Context Clues
- Data-detection service built into the text-handling API
- XNA support (mostly used for game development)
- Flash support ("Adobe and Microsoft are working together to bring Flash Player 10.1 to Internet Explorer Mobile on Windows Phone 7 Series.
The newest version of Windows Phone won't support Flash at initial availability") - GPS will probably be a hardware requirement also.
